Project Title, “Spatiotemporal environmental variation in the epipelagic zone of a Southeast Alaskan fjord.”

Mikayla’s lab interests center on fjord environmental dynamics that occur over time and those that occur with bathymetry. For her next step of her project, she aims to tie in the cultural importance of the area and to investigate whether temporal changes have lasting cultural effects.
